Metro North Railroad
Hudson Line
 


The Metro North Railroad consists of 775 miles of track and a total ridership of over 80 million. There are five lines that make up the Metro North Railroad: the New Haven Line, Harlem Line, Hudson Line, Port Jarvis Line, and the Pascack Valley Line. Metro North Railroad primary travels in New York State but also heads northeast into two counties of Connecticut.

The Hudson Line is a commuter line and operates out of New York City, Grand Central Terminal. The Hudson line travels north following the Hudson River to the city of Poughkeepsie, New York. Poughkeepsie is 73.5 miles from The New York Terminal. 

The fare from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie is: $17.75 peak and there is no food available onboard. The Ticket Office hours in Poughkeepsie are Mon- Sat 6:10 AM -9:00 PM. There are also two ticket machines at this station.
